Pay Rent Online
Capital Property Management is now offering online payments for our residents. Online payments through Appfolio are fast, easy and secure.
Please be advised that residents utilizing the online payment option must pay their account balance in full. The Appfolio website functions best with the Mozilla Firefox browser.

How do I set up my tenant portal for online payments?
Within a week of your move in, Capital will email you an activation link to set up your account, and written instructions relating to the tenant portal. If you have not received our email, please check your spam folder, or call our office to verify your email address. If you have additional questions about making online payments, please email Cathy Ware for instructions.
If you have recently moved in please note you may not receive an activation link before rent is due for your 2nd month. If this is the case, please mail or personally deliver a check to our office.
Please be advised that if you are unable to submit a payment through the tenant portal, Capital will not waive the late fee. We are happy to assist you with any issues encountered after hours or over a weekend, but payments are still expected to be submitted by the deadline using an alternate form of payment, if necessary.
Where is the night drop box located, if I want to pay using a personal check or money order?
The secure drop box is located at our main office, at the top of the wheel chair access ramp on NW Raleigh.
What is the due date for rent & utilities?
Rent is due on the 1st of every month. A late fee of $75.00 will be assessed for any payments received after 11:59 pm on the 5th day of the month.
Utilities are due on the 1st of every month. A late fee of $50.00 will be assessed for any payments received after 11:59 pm on the 25th day of the month.
Please call our office during normal business hours if you are unsure of your balance.
When will late fees be applied to my account?
Rent & utility payments must be received in our office by the deadlines noted above to be considered on time; a postmark is not sufficient.
Do you accept partial rent payments?
We do not accept partial rent payments. If multiple co-residents are paying rent using separate checks, the checks must be received together or they will be returned as a partial payment and will be subject to a late fee.
Do you accept postdated checks? Are you able to hold my check until funds have been deposited into my account?
We do not accept postdated checks. All payments are processed upon receipt, and deposits will not be postponed by our office.
