Fall/Winter 2008  

Fall has officially arrived!  As we move into the new season we always like to remind our residents to please call us well in advance of the holidays to have heating and appliances serviced if they are not operating properly.  We urge you to be proactive in reporting any problems as we rely on you in order for us to be responsive to all maintenance needs.

We are very proud to announce that our community has joined arms with The Children's Cancer Association and have geared ourselves towards sponsoring a family during the Holiday season.  The Children's Cancer Association was founded in 1995 and since then the staff, community partners, donors, and volunteers have worked hard to offer award winning programs, along with information, advocacy and support that help enrich the life for thousands of seriously ill children and their families across the U.S. each year.  This holiday we look very much forward to fulfilling the wish list of a cancer-stricken family and we have pledged to spread the word about this extraordinary non-profit organization.  If you are interested in getting more information about CCA and how to sponsor a family as we have done, please contact our office at 503-287-4346 and Trina will be pleased to assist you.

Finally, we would like to introduce our newest members of the Capital family!  Kristen Johnson is our new Project Coordinator in the Maintenance department and comes to us from Montana with a broad background in maintenance services and vendor relations.  Margie Flanagan was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and has recently joined the leasing team excited for a new and dynamic challenge.  Finally, our new Executive Assistant Leslie Bechtel and she came on board to assist both Property Managers in their daily responsibilities with extended practice in the housing rental market.  We are pleased to welcome them and think that you will find they are a great addition to our team of professionals.
